Cicaré 8
Redefining the Ultralight Helicopter
Date: 2013 – 2015
The Challenge
The Cicaré 8 was created to be the flagship of the brand. Our goal was to design a cabin that not only honored the engineering legacy of Augusto Cicaré but also elevated the perceived quality of the product.
Lead Cabin Design
I was in charge of the complete cabin design process. This wasn’t just about styling; it was about structural and functional integration.
Concept to Reality: We moved from sketches and specifications to a rigorous 3D modeling process.
Manufacturing Ready: We delivered a 3D model ready for CNC machining of the molds. This ensured that the final carbon fiber parts had perfect continuity and reflection, a rarity in the ULM segment.
The Result
We achieved a unique design that sets a new standard in the ultralight segment. The Cicaré 8 combines aerodynamic efficiency with a comfortable, high-visibility cockpit, proving that in aviation, beauty is a byproduct of efficiency.
Industry Recognition & Awards
The Cicaré 8 has been widely praised for breaking the mold of traditional ultralight helicopters, proving that experimental aviation can achieve superior functional elegance.
